Spelling Bee

The OHES PTA invites all students in grades 3-6 to register for the annual Orange Hunt Spelling Bee

Challenge yourself by learning new words and testing your memory. The winner of this event will represent Orange Hunt at the Fairfax County Spelling Bee in March. That champion will receive an invitation to participate at the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

Registration by January 11, 2025, is required to participate in this event.

Registration is limited to the first 80 students. All other registrations will be added to a waitlist.

After your student is registered, they will receive official word study lists, words of the champions, and official spelling bee rules.
