Spring Fundraiser - Hoots Heroes

The Hoots Heroes fundraiser is kicking off its second half! 144 OHES Families participated in our Fall Fundraiser, and now we only need $9,000 to continue our activities for the rest of the year.
This fundraiser is fun and unique because we are not selling anything! If we meet our goal, it will be the ONLY fundraiser for the remainder of the year!

International Children's Day and Maifest

The 2nd Annual International Children's Day and Maifest will be held on May 4th from 6-8pm. Please join us on March 20th immediately following the PTA meeting in the OHES cafeteria to plan for this event. We are looking for volunteers to develop a table representing a country from anywhere in the world and are looking for other volunteer help too. Questions: please email kindertag@orangehuntpta.org
Spring Break Camp: Language/Culture/Cooking

FCPS (ACE) GLOBAL Plus office is offering a new and exciting Spring Break Camp in 2018! Each day students will be exposed to a different language and culture in Spanish, French, Chinese and German. This will be followed by culinary classes that follow up with tasty hands-on fun.See flyer for details.

Amending the Bylaws

Two Sections of our PTA Bylaws need to be amended to allow some of our officers and committee chairs to serve for multiple years. The proposed amendments are:

Spring Break World Language Camp

Spring Break Camp will be offered at the Plum Center from March 26-29th. Students will be introduced to Spanish, French, Chinese and German through hands on activities and cooking experiences. See flyer for more information and registration.
Spring Box Top Collection

It's Spring Box Top Collection time. Please cut out and send in those box tops to earn easy money for our school. Just cut out your box tops, place them in a baggie with your teacher's name on it and turn them into the front office or to your teacher. The spring cut off date is February 25th. Please help support our school and send them in!
Glory Days Fundraiser

When you dine at any Glory Days Grill from Feb. 1 - Apr. 30, they will contribute 10% of the total food and beverages purchased to the Orange Hunt Elementary School PTA fundraiser. Bring your friends, family and neighbors! Simply ask your server for the itemized copy of your guest check receipt (not the charge card receipt), and give it to a PTA member or drop it in the collection box at the school.
