Laternenfest

RESCHEDULED TO: Friday, November 15th at 6:30pm

Meet at the main entrance

Due to rain, Laternenfest has been rescheduled to Friday.

The German tradition of Laternenfest honors the soldier Martin, who is remembered for his good deeds and compassion towards others. Children of the elementary school age walk along the streets holding colorful, often self-made lanterns, sing songs, and share treats.

We will gather at school to hear the story of St. Martin, sing and listen to traditional songs and walk with our lantern s through the neighborhood. We will reconvene back at OHES for warm refreshments & baked goods!

FEATURING A KINDERCHOR PERFORMANCE!
