Capital Enhancements

The PTA has $4,500 to spend on capital enhancements to support Orange Hunt Elementary. PTA members are asked to select the options they would like to see this money go towards by going here to vote. The voting will close Wednesday, November 13th. Other options were discussed at the last PTA meeting and these are either currently being implemented by the school or are unfortunately not feasible at this time.

Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme. The theme for the 2019-2020 program year is Look Within. Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts. Box Tops Update

Don't forget to turn in your clipped box tops by November 1st! The Box Top Trophy is moving classrooms based on the classroom that turns in the most clipped box tops for the month. August winner was Frau Lensink and September winner was Mrs. Choe.

PTA meeting this Thursday at 9:00 am. A representative from ADAPT for Active Duty (a tool for parents after deployments) is coming to talk about this program. Engineering for Kids Registration Now Open

Engineering for Kids registration is now open. Junior Inventors Workshop is offered for grades K-2 and Inventors Workshop for grades 3-5. Classes begin Thursday, October 10th. See flyer for details.
