Chair Needed for German Game Days

The PTA owns a selection of German board games for students to play and practice speaking in German. This afterschool activity is scheduled 4 times throughout the year. To volunteer or for information about how to run the event contact: germanliaison@orangehuntpta.org for details.

Orange Hunt Computer and Coding Club Fall Registration Now Open

Jimmy Potter's Pottery After School Program Registration Now Open

After-school Jimmy Potter’s Pottery Program is now enrolling.  The program is open to all students from K through 6th grade. It will start Monday, October 1, in the school cafeteria through Monday, December 3 from 3:45 PM to 4:45PM. See flyer for details and to register.

Guitar Club

Guitar Club gives students the opportunity to get their hands on a ‘real’ guitar and receive instruction from one of FineArtsMatter's experienced and engaging teachers. No previous experience is necessary. Grades 2nd and UP are welcome to join, but space will be limited. Orange Hunt Fencing Club

Improve agility, balance, and tactical thinking at the Orange Hunt Fencing Club! Also known as “physical chess,” fencing is growing in popularity in our area and nationwide. Classes are taught by Olympic fencer Jun Liang-Smith, who has developed a program for elementary school aged children. Have fun while participating in a really cool sport! Tuesdays 3:40-4:30 p.m. in the Orange Hunt cafeteria. The first session starts on September 11. Click here for registration form.

Hoot's Heroes - PTA Fundraiser

We need your support for our annual armchair fundraiser, Hoot's Heroes. Our PTA is dedicated to providing activities and services to our school community without asking our students to sell things. Global Plus: Spanish and German classes for students in K-6th grade

Global Plus: Offering Spanish and German classes for students in K-6th grade. Classes meet once a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays depending on grade level and language. Please see the flyer for details.

The GLOBAL Plus Program is an approach to language learning that allows students to develop communicative skills, using interactive SMART board technology and other fun activities. The curriculum is designed so students taking the class in multiple years will learn new material. Classes are suitable for students beginning and students with experience speaking the language.

New this year is German for grades 4-6th : an introductory class to German grammar with practice reading & writing in German through a story book. For the German grades 4-6th class students should have 3 years of Global Plus or German Immersion.
